Year 10 Geography Trip
Year 10 Geography - Walton on the Naze Trip
On 13th and 14th June, year 10 geography students paid a visit to Walton on the Naze in Essex.
Students carried out an investigation into the effectiveness of different coastal management strategies along this stretch of coastline, with the aim of trying to establish how good a job they were doing at protecting the coastline from the effects of erosion.
The trip also provided an opportunity for students to see first hand some of landforms studied in their unit "UK Physical landscapes," ensuring they were well prepared for their mock exam.
We were really impressed by the hard work and dedication shown by all the students involved, who managed to complete all their work before rounding off an enjoyable day with an ice-cream on the cliff top.
Well done to all our year 10 geographers!
