The Summer Craft Fair
The Summer Craft Fair was held across two dates (Friday 7th June and Thursday 13th June) and yet again proved a huge success. Over 200 students and teachers attended the event in total, where over 30 stalls sold an array of wonderful craft items ranging from jewellery and keychains, to crochet and stickers. The LRC was absolutely jam- packed and it was wonderful to see students supporting each other's crafty creations!
In the weeks leading up to the event, stall-holders worked incredibly hard to create their stock, make posters and price-lists, and put together eye-catching displays. Several stalls ended up making over £50 in profit and one stall generated a particularly impressive £126.40! The majority of stalls have also donated a small portion of their proceeds to charity. All students have amply demonstrated our WSFG values of aspiration, courage, compassion and integrity - and everyone who ran a stall has received a green point for their efforts.
We cannot wait for the Christmas Craft Fair next term - watch this space!
