On Wednesday 5th June 2024, the Year 10 ASDAN group visited The Hope Garden, a local flower and herb garden with a vegetable patch. We spent the morning learning about and identifying many plants which grow in the garden, and even tasting and smelling some of them. Our favourite smell was the banana sage, and we found out there is a kind of mint called chocolate mint! We left with inspiration for our own garden at WSFG, including ideas for what planters to choose, and ways to make the layout more 'wild'. 

The Hope Garden is a special local project which run many events in the community, for members of the public to get involved with.
