ETHOS

At Walthamstow School for Girls, we understand the value of providing rich and diverse enrichment activities from clubs and sports to trips and events.  Enrichment activities create well-rounded and proactive students who approach school life with energy and commitment.  They add meaning and depth to their learning experiences and often allow the opportunity to let off steam! We encourage all students to try extra-curricular activities and have introduced a reward system to support them with this.

Students who engage in extra-curricular activities are more engaged in school life, are more proactive and are more likely to have a healthy school-life balance.  Colleges and employers look for well-rounded and proactive students and are very keen to recruit students who play an active role in school life.
