I chose to sing 'The Climb' by Miley Cyrus because I think this song has a really important message about overcoming difficulties. It also has the message that when you get to the end point you need to reflect on how far you've come to reach it and appreciate how hard you have worked. I feel the climb reflects a journey everyone goes on and with starting at WSfG this year this song really resonated with me, and I'm sure everyone else in year 7. 

Before I performed I felt quite nervous but as soon as I started singing I saw my friends smiling and it made me feel more confident.  After I had finished performing I felt very proud of myself because that's the best performance I could have done and I think year 7 and the form tutors enjoyed the song.
